Lakeside’s 8 locations include 6 service and production facilities covering over 60,000+ square feet and includes full machining capabilities with 50+ experienced valve and instrumentation technicians to meet your automation needs. Our service area includes Ontario (excluding the Ottawa Valley), Manitoba, and the Kivalliq region of Nunavut with service locations in Hamilton, Mississauga, Sarnia, Winnipeg, Sudbury, Thunder Bay including our Mobile Trailer.


All of our locations offer depot and field service repair, allowing for fast and reliable response times. We source only OEM parts and with our in-house machining capabilities, Lakeside is prepared to meet your service needs.

Certifications

VR
The National Board offers the Certificate of Authorization and VR Stamp for the repair of pressure relief valves. Lakeside's in-house testing facilities offer complete refurbishment under the National Board VR program and are certified to repair both ASME Section I & VIII relief valves, which is compliant with TSSA Regulations.
ASME
Lakeside has adjusted its processes to some of the highest safety and quality standards in the world. ASME-certified products are reliable and perform consistently, comply with government regulations in more than 100 countries, and are more easily shipped internationally.
NBIC

The NBIC provides standards for the installation, inspection, and repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and pressure relief devices. The NBBI certification meets all of the requirements of the TSSA in Ontario.

Inspections &Technical Services Manitoba
Certified by Inspections and Technical Services Manitoba - Office of the Fire Commissioner in terms of the repair of pressure relief valves based on the requirements of the NBBI.
NBBI
Approved by the NBBI (National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors) for the assembly of safety valves according to the ASME code (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) section VIII on air, water and steam service and section I for valves on steam. This certification meets the requirements of the TSSA in Ontario.

Field Services

Our Mechanical Service Team is dedicated to delivering reliable, quality, and timely support for your Process Automation Assets. You can trust us to support your needs throughout your assets’ operating life from installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and the repair of damaged or deteriorating equipment. 

Our factory trained service team performs actuator rebuilds in our facility or in the field, bringing units back to ‘like new’ condition. We offer upgrades and conversions, as well as a 12-month warranty on upgrades and Class A repairs. Lakeside offers on-site control valve, isolation valve, and safety relief valve services, including on-site steam testing and certifications using our AVK (Lift Assist Device), and Asset Management Services.

Lakeside provides quality and consistency with repairs and preventative maintenance (health checks) of manual, pnuematic, electric and electro hydraulic actuators. Recommended spares, drawings and wiring diagrams are available. Start-up and calibration services are also offered.



Depot Services

Our factory and distribution facilities offer valve automation and testing services including custom fabrication for retrofits to existing valves, dampers, or other devices that require automation.

Lakeside offers high bay service facilities with a lift capacity of 5 tons, allowing for efficient and safe repair of your assets. With decades of combined experience, our technicians are ready to meet your valve and automation service needs.

Lakeside's in-house testing facilities offer complete refurbishment under the National Board VR program, which is compliant with TSSA Regulations. With sourcing of only OEM parts and in-house machining capabilities, Lakeside is prepared to meet your service needs.

MOV (Motor-Operated Valve) Service Capabilities include:

 
  • Disassembled, cleaned, and blasted down to bare metal
  • Carefully inspected by a factory-trained evaluator using Emerson procedures
  • Measured to ensure that material conditions and thicknesses are compliant with the original design
  • Refurbished with genuine OEM parts; every Encore valve receives brand new elastomer components, with other elements replaced if they do not pass OEM inspection criteria
  • Reserialized as an Encore valve, with records maintained in the OEM database
