Lakeside Expands in Thunder Bay: A New Chapter in Service and Support

On June 24, 2025, Greg Houston, Lakeside’s President, was joined by members of our leadership team, community partners, and our dedicated Lakers for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. We were honoured to welcome Acting Mayor Dominic Pasqualino, Tim Tenhave from Confederation College, Ron Marostica of Marostica Subaru, and representatives from Sierra Builders who helped bring this vision to life.
On June 24, 2025, Greg Houston, Lakeside’s President, was joined by members of our leadership team, community partners, and our dedicated Lakers for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. We were honoured to welcome Acting Mayor Dominic Pasqualino, Tim Tenhave from Confederation College, Ron Marostica of Marostica Subaru, and representatives from Sierra Builders who helped bring this vision to life.
Lakeside is excited to announce the official opening of our newest facility in Thunder Bay. This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to Northwestern Ontario, a region we have proudly served for decades.
 
We extend our sincere thanks to all our customers and partners for their continued support at our previous facility on Russell Street in Thunder Bay. This expansion reflects our belief in building strong partnerships and our readiness to respond with enhanced capabilities and local expertise. With this new facility, we are now better equipped to host and serve our customers with a broader range of services and solutions.

This latest investment, a 13,400 sq. ft. facility, is designed to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

  • 8,000 sq. ft. Service Shop

  • 2,700 sq. ft. Main Floor Office

  • 2,700 sq. ft. Second Floor Office

Our expanded in-shop services:

  • Valve repairs

  • Instrumentation

  • Reliability

  • Automation services

With expanded space and modern features, our new facility will soon provide a welcoming and customer-ready environment. We look forward to hosting local training sessions and events, as well as delivering more on-site services and improved technical support.

  • Analytical Centre of Excellence: Focused on process analytics for gas and liquid applications

  • Systems and Software Solutions Lab: Supporting automation, reliability, and safety systems (including DeltaV and AMS)

  • Instrumentation Shop: Dedicated to measurement services and support

  • Local Service Rentals: Including Flexim and Machinery Health Crash Carts

Please note, our previous location is now closed. Please send all future correspondence and materials to our new Thunder Bay facility.
